RAMKATHA PARIKRMA 2025

This Katha Yatra traces the sacred Ram Van Gaman Path — the legendary route Lord Rama is believed to have taken during his 14-year exile (Vanvas), accompanied by Sita and Lakshmana, as described in the epic Ramayana.

Spanning across multiple Indian states and extending to Sri Lanka, this path connects a series of ancient and spiritually significant sites where key events of the Ramayana are said to have unfolded — from Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh to the shores of Lanka.

Katha is open to everyone. You’re warmly invited to visit the Katha Sthal, take part in the Katha, and enjoy the prasad—no registration is needed. Participants are welcome to attend any of the Parikrama Kathas, all of them, or simply the ones that inspire them most.

Train Journey Details

1. Arrival Time:
The train will reach the nearest railway station between 3:00 AM and 6:00 AM.

2. Schedule:

  • Departure: Chitrakoot on 25.10.2025 at 10:30 PM
  • Arrival at Rameshwaram (Talgajarda): 31.10.2025 at 3:00 PM (End of Katha Yatra by Train)
  • Return Journey: Depart Rameshwaram at 5:00 PM on 31.10.2025, arriving in Delhi at 9:00 PM on 01.11.2025

Final Stop: Delhi

3. Package Inclusions:

  • Travel by Bharat Gaurav Special Train (AC III Class) as per itinerary.
  • Wash & Change facility at an AC hotel near the station (3–4 persons per room, for 2–3 hours).
  • Onboard vegetarian meals as per schedule.
  • AC bus transfers for local travel between the station, hotel, and Katha venue (includes breakfast & lunch at the venue).
  • Travel insurance for all passengers.
  • Luggage security provided (guests are advised to carry minimal cash and jewellery).
  • All applicable taxes included.

Important Instruction

  • During your journey at each place, you must keep all your luggage in the train. Carry only a small shoulder bag containing only essential items of your daily use like essential clothes, charger, money, purse etc.
  • There is no facility for washing clothes. We suggest carryinga bigger size suitcase / bag.It will be better if you can arrangeuse and throw type clothes for the complete travel.
  • If an attendee is traveling with valuables, the organizer will not be responsible in any way for its loss or theft.
